B?ttcher & Kayser

Both born in 1978 B?ttcher & Kayser is a Berlin-based studio founded in 2007, working in the fields of consumer product, furniture, lighting and interior design. Co-founders Moritz B?ttcher and Nikolaus Kayser already met in kindergarden and went to school together. After that they took different ways for their education and gained work experience in various countries, cities and design companies before they met again and made their dream of working together become true. Today they are running their own studio and working for clients such as ANTA, B?wer, freistil by Rolf Benz, Johanson, Gejst, Mater, Normann Copenhagen, Prostoria, RIG-TIG, Sch?nbuch, Stelton, Vertigo Bird, WON and Zero. Moritz B?ttcher (right) and Nikolaus Kayser have been awarded with numerous design prizes such as the Interior Innovation Award, several iF and Red Dot Design Awards, including the prestigious Red Dot ?Best of the Best’. Their projects have been published in books and magazines around the world.
